Besides my journalism work I have also done volunteer work around the world.
In 2005 I spent time at Bethel Orphanage in Zambia.
In 2007 I spent three months at Bolivia Children's Mission (BCM), a home for street children and young people at high risk, in Cochabamba.
I have also done volunteer work in Romania and South Africa.
In the UK I have done volunteer work for Legacy, an Australian charity that supports the families of servicemen, for the past three years. I am helping them with their 2011 ANZAC Day campaign.
I've also volunteered in the press office of Terrence Higgins Trust and have helped Crisis.
