I recently started stand up comedy after completing The Laughing Horse two-day weekend comedy course in London with Jay Sodagar in April which included a five-minute "graduate" performance! I have since done six open mic nights and have recently also completed the week-long online Funny Women Comedy Crash course, which included a two-minute performance.

I have included this on here because despite the subject, I take this as seriously as my paid work. If I don't show up, I'm letting someone down. And during the course of this, I've learnt a lot about writing, performing, and public speaking. 

I've also completed the workshop Writing Comedy for TV in the online age with Alan Nixon at City Lit, London, and a Improv for Stand-Up Workshop with Ben Van der Velde in Birmingham.
