"One of the top two attended sessions." Feedback from a recent how to land media coverage webinar.
Only recently, I did a bespoke training session on how to land media coverage for the Martin James Foundation Global Partner Learning Exchange, a group comprising charities working all around the world on alternative family care and related issues.
I was approached by them to put on this.
Already, I’ve gotten some terrific feedback, like this glowing review above.
I was also thrilled to be told that this was one of their best two attended sessions that they’ve put on so far.
Other attendees have also told me that they learnt a lot.
I was excited to be approached about doing this and to then see the attendee list and names from Child’s i Foundation and Hope and Homes for Children, who I’ve been in touch with for years, among others, and to also meet people from Railway Children Africa plus Homecoming, Children’s Future International, This Life, Global Social Service Workforce Alliance, Family for Every Child, and more. Thanks for connecting!
It was because of Child’s i Foundation that I first went to Uganda and Child’s i also provided me with a great education on and insight into the need for every child to grow up in a safe and loving family - not in institutional care.
I loved hearing what charities are working on too, for instance pitches about carers in the global South, in this webinar, too.
If you’re interested in me putting on a webinar for you where you can learn how to find stories, how to pitch them to journalists and editors, how to follow up and what to do next, you can see more details here or email me via amy@amyfallon.com
